Operations Supervisor for Large Commercial Construction Projects

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Supervisor to lead large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Duties Lead and supervise multiple large commercial construction projects, ensuring all phases are executed efficiently, safely, and within scope. Coordinate project activities across various teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, fostering clear communication and collaboration. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion. Monitor project budgets closely, perform cost control measures, and oversee procurement processes utilizing estimating tools. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and adherence to project specifications ion order to determine supplies and materials for site delivery Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and enforce safety protocols across all job sites to promote a safe working environment. Conduct quality control inspections, oversee site inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage contract administration including reviewing contracts, change orders, and ensuring all work aligns with contractual obligations. Utilize construction management software for documentation, progress tracking, and communication updates. Oversee construction site activities, supervise field personnel, and ensure adherence to project schedules while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising large commercial construction projects with a focus on project scheduling and execution. Strong background in construction management software. Extensive knowledge of heavy civil construction processes, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols essential for maintaining safe job sites. Demonstrated ability in budgeting, cost control, contract management, and procurement procedures such as Pipeline management systems. Supervising experience leading diverse teams on complex projects with a focus on quality control and safety compliance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively among clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Technical proficiency in the following: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc), Google Drive, Contractor Foreman, Procore, Blue Beam, Builder Trend, On screen takeoff, Notion, GC Pay, and Textura and overseeing components of projects. OSHA 30 Certification Educational requirement: Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field.
