## Overview We are a quickly-growing startup metal fabrication company seeking an experienced Drafter. The ideal candidate will have experience with software such as Inventor to create technical drawings, and will prepare machine programs for metal fabrication. ## Responsibilities - Create detailed drawings using CAD software like AutoDesk Inventor and Fusion - Prepare laser-cutting machine programs and sheet metal bending programs using CorelDRAW, NCell, and DiamondBend software - Collaborate with salesmen using customer RFQs and part files to understand part and project requirements - Prepare drawings for mechanical design and prototyping - Review and modify designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications ## Qualifications - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor and Fusion) - Proficiency in CNC programming - Familiarity with NCell and DiamondBend (Mitsubishi CNC software) is a plus - Strong understanding of drafting techniques and standards - Ability to interpret technical drawings and 3D part models, including complex assemblies - Experience in both 2D and 3D drafting - Knowledge of mechanical design principles - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Openness to learning new machine program software as we add new CNC machinery Find your drafting career opportunity here and join us as we grow in the metal fabrication industry!
