Will serve as a customer service advocate with the desire to achieve corporate objectives as stated in the company's mission statement. Position requires individual to interact internally with other staff members, doctors and the general public in problem solving and responding to inquiries and questions related to hospital scheduling.Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma, degree preferredRequired Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in healthcare with a customer service focusA combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the following knowledge, skills and abilities:Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Explorer and the InternetTyping speed of 45 wpmKnowledge of surgical terminologyEffective Communicator in providing Customer Service working with patients and physiciansProficient Grammar (oral and written)Possess a financial and analytical aptitudeDetailed Oriented and OrganizedProblem Solver and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionPositive mind-set and mannerisms (ability to inspire others)Maintain confidentiality of patients records and physicians informationEffective in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
