Machine Operator Material Handler

*Machine Operator* *Shifts:* 12-Hour rotating shift (7 AM - 7 PM / 7 PM - 7 AM), other shifts could be available *Location:* West Asheville, Candler area *What's In It For You?* * Only work half the month! * Weekly Time Off: Receive a full week off every four weeks. * Career Growth: Opportunity for advancement and a pay increase and benefits upon permanent conversion. *What you will be doing:* * Operate and Monitor Machinery: Run and adjust production equipment, including performing routine setups and minor calibrations, to ensure quality and efficiency. * Material Handling: Use equipment like pallet jacks and lifts to safely load raw materials, transport finished goods, and manage inventory within the work area. * Quality Control & Documentation: Conduct frequent in-process checks on materials, identify faults, and accurately document production counts and quality data (often involving scanning or logging). * Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to 5S standards, assist with basic equipment maintenance, and strictly follow all safety protocols. * Team Support: Help with product changeovers and line start-ups, and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain a smooth workflow. *What you will bring:* * High School Diploma or equivalent. * At least 6 months of stable work history * Safety mindset - open to training * Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks/time effectively. * Good communication and organizational skills—you're a clear communicator who can keep things running smoothly. *Ready to start a rewarding career where you get half the month back?
