Estimator - Multifamily

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, fully-remote, Estimator with a strong background in multifamily wood-frame construction to support a growing pipeline of projects across southern New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area. This individual will play a key role in preconstruction, working closely with internal teams and subcontractors to develop accurate, competitive project estimates.This is a 5-day a week remote role with travel to South Jersey at least once a month.The ideal candidate will bring not only technical estimating expertise, but also established relationships with subcontractors and vendors in the Southern New Jersey market.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projectsPerform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipmentSolicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bidsLeverage existing subcontractor relationships to ensure competitive and accurate pricingCollaborate with project management and leadership during preconstruction phasesAnalyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimatesIdentify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering optionsMaintain and update cost databases and historical pricingParticipate in bid reviews, scope alignment, and project handoffsQualifications3+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience in multifamily constructionStrong experience with wood-frame / stick-built construction (Type III / Type V)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience working in a remote environment is a plusCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $80,000Remote work environment, with travel potentially once a month.Stable pipeline of multifamily projects
