Operations Associate
Position: Client Operations Center Associate Location: Hanover, MDComp: $70K-$90K Position OverviewThe Client Operations Center Associate plays a critical role in launching and scaling a new warehouse operation focused on accuracy, timeliness, and customer value. This role is designed for individuals who take pride in their work, operate with a high level of ownership, and are motivated to continuously improve processes.As part of a small, foundational team, you will be cross trained across all warehouse functions and will help establish the standards, workflows, and culture of the operation from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving & PutawayReceive inbound materials using TWL warehouse management systemVerify accuracy of shipments and perform system transactionsExecute efficient and organized putawayOrder FulfillmentPick, pack, and prepare orders with a focus on speed and accuracyEnsure all outbound shipments meet customer and quality requirementsShippingProcess and ship orders using designated systems and carriersMaintain on-time shipment performanceInventory ControlPerform cycle counts and inventory auditsInvestigate and resolve discrepanciesMaintain accurate system and physical inventoryWarehouse OperationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentComplete daily forklift inspections and operate equipment safelySupport general warehouse upkeep and organizationPerformance ExpectationsAchieve and maintain near 100% inventory and order accuracyConsistently meet or exceed on-time shipping and receiving targetsTake ownership of errors and actively work toward root cause resolutionIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and streamline workflowsContinuous Improvement CultureActively participate in Kaizen and Lean initiativesContribute ideas to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivityHelp build scalable, repeatable processes from the ground upQualificationsRequired:Warehouse, logistics, or operations experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to learn and operate warehouse systems (TWL or similar WMS)Forklift experience or willingness to become certifiedStrong work ethic and accountabilityPreferred:Experience with inventory control or cycle countingFamiliarity with Lean, Kaizen, or process improvement conceptsExperience in a startup or fast-paced operational environmentWhy This RoleThis is a unique opportunity to be part of the foundational team of a new Client Operations Center.
