AI Consultant
Remote (Ohio or North Carolina Preferred)Job DescriptionThe AI Consultant / Trainer serves as a trusted advisor and internal authority on the practical application of artificial intelligence, particularly Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), across the Government Group. This role is responsible for driving scalable AI adoption through training, hands-on guidance, and best practices while reinforcing responsible and compliant AI usage. The ideal candidate will help build organizational capability, confidence, and consistency in applying AI solutions to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Act as the organization's AI consultant and trainer, assisting teams with innovative and practical AI use cases across the Government businessDeliver training and education on AI capabilities using real-world business examples to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and performanceProvide guidance on prompt engineering and evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, hallucinations, and qualityRecommend prompt refinements and AI best practices to improve output quality and usabilityReinforce AI usage standards, governance, guardrails, and playbooks to support responsible and repeatable adoptionStay current on emerging AI trends, tools, techniques, and assess their practical applicability within the businessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI use cases and opportunities for process improvementSupport the development and implementation of AI Agents and AI-enabled business processesHelp drive organizational confidence and adoption of AI tools and strategies Required Skills & Experience3–5+ years of relevant experience in AI enablement, consulting, training, business analysis, project management, or related fieldsWorking knowledge of AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and LLMsExperience identifying and supporting AI use cases within business environmentsStrong understanding of prompt engineering and prompt refinement techniquesAbility to assess AI outputs for bias, hallucinations, accuracy, and data quality concernsExperience translating technical AI concepts into clear, practical business guidanceStrong communication, collaboration, and training skillsSelf-motivated with a strong interest in staying current on evolving AI technologies and trends Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting AI strategy initiatives within business operationsExposure to AI Agent development and implementationBackground in Business Analysis, Project Management, or AI-focused business transformation initiativesExperience working with internal AI communities, AI Guilds, or innovation programs is a plus Additional InformationRemote opportunity with preference for candidates located in Ohio or North CarolinaCandidate may have access to development environments and/or Personally Identifiable Information (PII)Supplier must conduct in-person verification of the candidate upon offer extension as part of onboarding compliancePotential for contract extension or full-time conversion"All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran"
