This position focuses on providing targeted reading instruction and intervention through small group settings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early literacy development and committed to helping students build strong foundational reading skills.Key Responsibilities:Provide small group reading instruction and intervention for students in grades K-4Assess student reading abilities and monitor progress regularlyDevelop and implement targeted instructional plans based on student needsCollaborate with classroom teachers to support student learning and align interventionsUtilize research-based reading strategies and interventionsMaintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Title I requirementsCommunicate effectively with staff regarding student progress and instructional strategiesSupport a positive, nurturing learning environmentQualifications:Licensure: P-5 or Elementary (1-8)Strong background in reading instruction and early literacy developmentExperience with intervention strategies and progress monitoring toolsAbility to work effectively with young learners in small group settingsStrong communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in a Title I or intervention roleFamiliarity with structured literacy approaches and evidence-based reading practicesExperience working in a non-public or faith-based school settingApplication materials including resume may be sent to:Polly Muhlenkamp: polly.muhlenkamp@icschool-celina.org
