Health Services Administrator

About The RoleAs a Health Services Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare services within a federally managed detention facility. Working in a secure, clinic environment, you will oversee daily operations, manage both clinical and administrative staff, manage relationships with various Government and contractor partners, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency. This position requires professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to ethical care and regulatory compliance in a high-accountability setting.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and coordinate all healthcare services and administrative functions within the facility.Supervise clinical, administrative, and support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and oversee billing and reimbursement processes.Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and performance improvement initiatives.Serve as the primary liaison between the facility and external stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and community partners.Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care, staffing, and facility operations.Respond to audits, inspections, and incident investigations as needed.Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Required QualificationsMust have a minimum of a master's degree in healthcare administration (or related field of study preferred).Must have three years of leadership experienceMust have three years management of programs and services experience.The HSA shall maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and if the HSA holds a clinical license, it is their responsibility to fulfill the obligations of their licensing or certifying body to ensure continued statusPreferred ExperienceExperience in correctional, military, or community health settings.Familiarity with Texas Medicaid/Medicare systems and local healthcare networks.Physical RequirementsThe work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; walking or jogging over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or recurring lifting of moderately heavy patients or equipment.Pay: Starting at $140,000About Loyal SourceLoyal Source provides healthcare and technology solutions designed to improve outcomes and support mission-critical operations.
