Senior Ruby Engineer (Payments) | Fintech Startup | Remote (EU) | PermanentI’m hiring for a well-funded early-stage fintech startup building payments technology. The engineering team is small today, with plans to grow significantly next year, so this is a chance to join early and have real influence over how the product is built.
The role:
- Build complex, high-impact systems in a fast-moving startup environment
- Work on payments functionality at the core of the product
- Own technical decisions and architecture end to end
- Use AI tooling as part of your everyday development workflow
What we’re looking for:
- Strong Ruby experience (the wider stack is flexible)
- Hands-on fintech or payments experience
- A track record of building and scaling complex systems
- Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong critical thinking and clear communication
- Practical experience building with AIDetails
Location: Remote, within the EUContract: Permanent, full-time
