Ottosen & Nygard Endodontics, Moses Lake, WAProudly supported by Mosaic Dental CollectiveOttosen & Nygard part of the Mosaic Dental Collective, is looking for a warm, detail-oriented, and patient-first Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team in Moses Lake, WA. The Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, making appointments, answering questions, entering, and reviewing information in the electronic scheduling andrecords system, and assist with facilitating patient requests for access and information. Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday. Pay range: $20.24-$23.27 hr Checks in patients, greets visitors, and routes them to the person who can help them Schedules appointments by phone and in person Issues billing sheet and other needed forms. Checks patient forms for completenessand accuracy. Obtains consent for treatment. Determines method of payment and collects necessary information. Reviewsregistration and determines eligibility for programs in the absence of the eligibilityworker. Updates patient information on computer. Inputs new patient information intocomputer. Requests charts when not already pulled, makes new charts, prepares chart for visitby inserting appropriate forms. Checks patients out and schedules return appointments Collects fees and co-payments Checks account balances and requests past due payments Reviews billing sheets for completeness and sends completed forms to billing. Locatesmissing billing sheets. Makes financial arrangements for all SFS and Insurance Patients, forwarding one tobilling as instructed and filing one in patient chart. Posts encounters and payments, reconciles cash collected and runs all end of the dayreports. Answers phones, routes calls and takes messages when clinic operator is not availableAnswers patient inquiries or if unable to answer routes question to correct person. Maintains communication with providers through the Office Manager or Lead DentalAssistants to insure optimum patient flow. Maintains inventory of forms and orders forms as needed Participates in appropriate staff meetingsRequirementsHigh School diploma or GED required; Associates preferredMinimum six months related work experienceDental office experience preferred.
