Strategic Financial LeadershipProvide comprehensive financial oversight for a multi-division educational institution with centralized finance operationsPrepare and present monthly financial reports to the Executive BoardDevelop annual budgets and multi‑year financial forecasts to support institutional growthConduct cash flow analysis and maintain financial sustainabilitySupport the institution's campus expansion and real‑estate portfolio managementTeam Leadership & Operations ManagementOversee centralized finance office managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, grants accounting, and tuition collectionsLead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionalsFoster a collaborative, high‑performing finance culture with both strategic vision and attention to operational detailSystems & Process ImprovementChampion the continued implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across finance operationsNavigate and strengthen systems during a period of finance team evolutionCross‑Functional PartnershipTranslate complex financial information for non‑finance stakeholders, particularly educators and academic administratorsPartner with division leaders (early childhood, elementary, high school) to support their budget managementHelp educators understand and operate effectively within their allocated budgetsBuild strong working relationships across all levels of the organizationRequired QualificationsProven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior financial leader in a nonprofit school or educational institutionDemonstrated leadership capability with willingness to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levelsExceptional communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non‑finance professionalsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and academic leadershipHumility and collaborative mindset—able to listen, adapt, and work within an established institutional culture and leadership structureBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldStrong technical expertise in budgeting and financial forecasting; cash flow analysis and management; financial reporting and board‑level presentations; oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, controller functions, grants/general ledger accounting, and tuition/collections operationsBenefits
