This position supports systems integration and development testing for the Testing Infrastructure Group (TIG). TIG at NSWC Crane provides specialized, high-reliability facilities and engineering expertise for the full life cycle --design, development, test, and evaluation --of Navy strategic systems, electronic warfare, and weapon systems. They focus on critical testing for radiation hardening, hardware-in-the-loop, and complex electronic systems to ensure mission success. You will be working onsite in a fast paced and dynamic environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential. SECRET to CLEARANCE Requirement: Interim Secret to start. Continued employment contingent upon favorable final Secret clearance.Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain software code and components based on defined requirements and design specificationsSupport full SDLC, including coding, unit tests, integration, and defect resolutionSupport system integration and Developmental Test (DT) activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issuesContribute to technical documentation (design desc., test procedures, guides)Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems engineering, cybersecurity, T&E)Follow configuration management and version control processesImplement secure coding practices and support RMF-aligned requirementsQualificationsSkills and Experience:3 -6 years of relevant experienceWorking knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python)Experience in Agile or iterative development environmentsApplies standard principles and practicesWorks on defined tasks with independence and limited guidance for complex issuesEducation:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldSAIC is a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets.
