We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Internal Auditor with excellent time management skills & willingness to travel internationally. This person will be committed and driven to providing quality service for our internal organization and auditees around the globe. The ideal candidate will be analytically oriented, hardworking, problem solver, comfortable and making their point to other more senior members of the team, who can help various teams achieve their goals and work directly with management for day-to-day needs. This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week. What to expect in this role on a given day: Communicate and report directly to the VP of Internal Audit to complete audits and administrative tasks, follow up of findings and ad-hoc analyses. Lead audits or work under the leadership of a colleague on a team environment. Communicate with members of senior management and entry level employees, understanding the nuances of those interactions. Handle confidential information. Perform internal audits complying with the standards issued by the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA). Review complex activities and transactions and evaluate whether they make business sense and are in compliance with the Company policies and procedures. Be always engaged with the audit, accounting, leasing and finance outside community to be aware of trends and new requirements. Participate in departmental meetings about diverse projects and audits. Provide your opinion and use your experience to enhance the group’s knowledge about a topic. Engage with other departments to understand processes and learn. Apply previous business knowledge to transactions being reviewed. Handles multiple assignments at once. Share best practices between the Subsidiaries audited and connect CSI employees across locations. You will be a good fit for this position if you: Have excellent communication skills in English. Have worked for CSI Leasing for longer than 7 years Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or a Bachelor degree and experience on Accounting, Credit, Finance, Pricing Are a polished English writer that can explain complex concepts in simple terms. Are willing to travel up to 40% of your time. Travel may also be arranged on a last-minute basis (within 2-4 weeks). Flexibility is a must, but we try to work around commitments. Can handle multiple assignments at the same time. Have an analytical mindset. Are able to work on a multi-cultural environment, working with different nationalities and countries. Are discreet with the information obtained. Are comfortable asking questions and understanding new processes. Are comfortable in pursuing the truth, even if the person interviewed becomes defensive or uncomfortable. Have the ability to maintain independence and yet to be empathetic. Can apply critical thinking and approach to the areas being audited. You are interest in constantly learning and applying best practices. You have a curious attitude. Have the ability to interact and communicate with different levels of personnel within the company (senior management to entry level employees). Are customer service oriented and a good listener. Are detailed oriented, but not detail bogged down. Can identify patterns and root causes from a series of issues not easily relatable. Have flexibility setting up the working hours based in different time zones. Are able to work remotely and maintain motivation to get the job done. Are able to use initiative and make informed decisions. Manage workload effectively. Manage conflicting priorities. Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advance Excel skills. Good to have: Fluent Spanish or Portuguese.
