This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food with consistency and care.This position focuses on weekend morning shifts and involves preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with established recipes, food safety standards, and presentation guidelines. Experience with brick oven cooking (pizza, flatbreads, meats, poultry, and fish) is strongly preferred.What You'll DoPrepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing foodWash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredientsPrepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelinesPrepare cold foods and assist with overall kitchen productionOperate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryersMonitor food quality during preparation and ensure proper cooking techniquesSet up and break down workstations before and after shiftsPlate and serve food in proper portions using appropriate service wareMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, tools, equipment, and dish pitEnsure proper temperature control of food and kitchen appliancesAssist with tray line setup, food distribution, and breakdown as neededRequirementsAvailability to work weekend morning shifts (required)Previous cooking or line cook experience preferredBrick oven cooking experience is a plusKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and consistencyTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitudeWhy You'll Love Us:For over 40 years, TBC Hotels has owned, developed, and operated more than 30 hotels across the United States.
