Employment & Labor Attorney: 1st-2nd year

We are not accepting resumes from search agencies for those with less than a full year of experience for this position.Cooley LLP has an opportunity available for an associate to work in the Employment and Labor practice group in our New York office. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of broad experience in employment law with training, experience, and interest in both employment law counseling and employment litigation. This role involves significant day-to-day counseling of Firm clients, including in New York and Florida, as well as employment support on M&A transactions. Qualified candidates must have a high level of motivation and initiative, excellent writing and communication skills, as well as strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school. Candidates must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible and willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar. EOE.The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000-$235,000.
