General Mechanical Work - Traveling Outage Crew

Job Description Perform hands-on mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation work during planned outages and shutdowns at industrial and power generation facilities across multiple locations.This position requires consistent travel and the ability to work 7 days per week, 12-hour shifts for the duration of each outage. Assignments are schedule-driven and production-focused. When the unit is down, the clock is running.Responsibilities include:Removal and replacement of pumps, motors, fans, gearboxes, and valvesEquipment disassembly and reassemblyGasket, packing, and seal replacementRigging and setting equipmentAssisting with inspections and corrective repairsFollowing lockout/tagout and strict safety protocolsWork is physically demanding and performed in high-energy environments under tight timelines. Candidates must be dependable, mechanically capable, and willing to work extended hours until the scope is complete.Compensation:Competitive hourly payOvertimePer diem provided when travelingThis role is built for individuals who understand outage work — long days, travel, production pressure, and getting the job done right the first time.Physical Requirements:Talk/Hear: The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Stand/Sit: The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting or standing.Walk: Frequently walking through job sites.Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Frequently use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things. Able to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. Able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
