Position Overview
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University and the Fertility and Reproductive Health Service (FRHS) seeks a reproductive endocrinologist physician-investigator to join the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). The faculty position is at open rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) in the University Medical Line. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
Successful candidates are expected to develop a highly collaborative research program in Reproductive Medicine, Assisted Reproduction, or LGBTQ+ Health. In addition to research, they will participate in all clinical activities of the division, including office visits, ART procedures, and reproductive surgery, and provide excellent clinical acumen and surgical skills. Candidates will also participate in teaching programs for medical students, residents, and fellows, serve as a research mentor for OB/GYN residents and REI fellows, and contribute to the ACGME-accredited fellowship program.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an MD or DO, be REI board certified or eligible in OB/GYN and REI, and demonstrate the ability to conduct clinical and/or translational research in the specified areas.

The Stanford Fertility and Reproductive Medicine (SFRM) team includes leading embryologists, reproductive endocrinologists, reproductive geneticists, urologists, nurses, and technicians. SFRM offers a full spectrum of assisted reproductive technology and hosts several multi‑specialty programs such as Oncofertility, Q+ Family Building, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss, Endometrial Health, Urology, and Reproductive Genetics. Fertility services are part of the Johnson Center for Pregnancy and Newborn Services, providing a seamless transition from fertility care to obstetric, neonatal, and pediatric care. SFRM is housed in a new, state‑of‑the‑art facility with ample parking, modern examination rooms, and convenient hours.

Compensation
Salary ranges are as follows: Assistant Professor $305,000 – $329,000; Associate Professor $370,000 – $388,000; Professor $411,000 – $443,000. These figures reflect base pay based on faculty rank and years in rank. The pay range does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or departmental incentive compensation programs.
