An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized skills in telemetry and medical-surgical care to support a 36-bed acute care unit focused on elderly patients. Canandaigua offers a charming community environment with access to natural beauty and recreational activities, making it a peaceful setting for both work and life.Schedule & HoursNights, 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) 36 to 48 hours per week available One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend Commitment to working at least one holiday during the contract durationQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of recent experience in medical-surgical telemetry (MS/Tele) settings For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of U.S. work experience is required Preferred: 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience Valid New York State RN license Current AHA BLS certification Proficient with EPIC charting system Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs; block booking may be requestedResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care to elderly patients with acute and alternate level care needs Monitor cardiovascular and medical-surgical telemetry patients closely Utilize EPIC system effectively for accurate documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Adapt to schedule changes as necessary to meet facility demands Contract DetailsDuration: 16 weeks Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Contract position with potential for flexible scheduling This role provides an excellent chance to apply your telemetry nursing expertise in a supportive and dynamic setting.
