ResponsibilitiesApplication Developer (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server)Massillon, OH (Hybrid Schedule)The Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, and support of business-critical information systems, including both in-house developed and vendor-provided solutions. This role partners closely with the business to identify needs, scope solutions, and deliver reliable, scalable applications while also supporting and enhancing existing systems. You'll be hands-on across the full stack - from ASP.NET and C# services to SQL Server-backed data models - with opportunities to influence architecture, improve performance, and introduce modern development practices.Your seat at the table:Builds and supports applications using C# and ASP.NET with a strong focus on maintainability and performanceDesigns, develops, and optimizes SQL Server-based solutions, including complex queries, stored procedures, and integrationsWorks directly with business partners to understand requirements, identify root causes, and deliver practical solutionsTakes ownership of issues end-to-end - documenting, resolving, or escalating as appropriateContinuously looking for opportunities to improve code quality, system reliability, and development processesSupports integrations between internal systems and external/vendor platformsResearch and evaluate new technologies to increase productivity and streamline processesQualificationsWhat you bring to the table:Associate degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong C# and ASP.NET experience, including ASP.NET MVC / Web API and modern ASP.NET patternsExperience with software development that targets SQL ServerExperience with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, Razor/Blazor PagesExperience supporting and modernizing existing systems while building new solutionsBONUS: Experience with migration of Visual Basic Webforms to ASP MVC or equivalentBONUS: Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud data technologies such as Fabric and PowerAppsWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
