Role - Senior Performance Engineer -- SINDC5778563Location - Jersey City, New JerseyHybrid - 2 weeks onsite a month Must Have - Performance testing, JVM, Java, Spring, Dynatrance, Datadog, Appdynamics, low latency, AWS, Crypto Currency, Aeron, Solace, 29 West The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field requiredSoftware engineering experience in Java with core Java TechnologiesExperience with distributed systems and asynchronous workersAn understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-based deploymentsStrong familiarity with any cloud infrastructure – AWS/Azure/GCPDeep Understanding of how software and hardware systems interact at scale, including architectural patterns for performance-critical stacksYou know the internals of JVM tuning and providing recommendationsExperience with profiling and instrumentation tools – Dynatrace/Datadog/AppDynamicsExperience analyzing thread and heap dumpsExperience identifying memory leakage, connection issues & throughput bottlenecks in various technologies such as web application(s), infrastructure, and CloudExperience architecting large scale test automationStrong communication and influence skills; comfortable driving technical direction with senior engineering and product leadershipHave a track record of leading sophisticated performance initiatives and driving decisions across teams or critical product areasYou have Excellent collaboration and Interpersonal skillsYou have Phenomenal attitude, willing mentor, great teammate and effective contributorYou have Focus on productivityNice to have experience in Capital markets or Crypto Currency specifically with exposure to Trading, Algo Trading & Market DataNice to have experience using kernel bypass e.g., Solar flare Open OnloadNice to have experience with low latency messaging products, such as Aeron, Solace or 29West
