7 Clinic Closures, 1 Floating Holiday, eligible immediately upon hire
PTO 160 Hours Per Year:
Vacation PTO accrues based on time worked, with a maximum annual accrual of 80 hours per FTE 1.0, available for use after 90 days of employment
Frontloaded PTO is uploaded based on time worked, with a maximum annual eligibility of 80 hours per FTE 1.0, available for use after 90 days of employment
Protected Sick Time accrues 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, max use of 40 per year, available immediately as time accrues after first day of employment

Oregon Integrated Health is an Integrated Primary Care Medical Home that is hiring for a Full or Part Time Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) for in in office/telemedicine in our Portland Clinic.
Our Portland clinic has a goal to expand our mental health and behavioral health care appointments to our patients with a BHC that is part of the primary care team and provides a wide range of brief, short-term interventions for mental health, substance use, health behaviors, stress, lifestyle issues, developmental concerns, care plan adherence, etc. Reduced barriers & stigma + increased coordination + increased prevention & early intervention + increased PCP capacity. Visits will be 30 minute visits a day with a large portion of the day open for same day access & PCP consultation.
Clinic primarily serves Medicaid/Medicare demographic of patients, adults and adolescents.
Oregon Integrated Health is a thriving physician-owned patient-centered medical home that cares for approximately 18,000 patients and families. We provide an Integrated Primary Care Medical Home and our clinics are comprised of Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Naturopathic Physicians, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Counselors, Chiropractors, Acupuncture, Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy and Eugene has an Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist for our Oral Health Program.

We are offering a signing bonus/relocation package for the successful candidate. Flexible work schedule, including ½ day dedicated program development and leadership time.
The BHC will be an integral part of our care team providing screening, assessment, and brief interventions for our patients and families.
OIH will provide education benefit of $1600 for Primary Care Behavioral Health Course
The successful BHC candidate will:
Collaborate with other medical professionals in a fast-paced family practice environment
Act as a contributing member of the care team, assisting primary care providers in recognizing, treating, and managing behavioral health and biopsychosocial issues
Provide brief evidence-based interventions and use outcome-based models to track patient improvement
Be available for same day warm hand-offs and consultation with primary care providers
Act as a leader in helping build a successful new integrated care program
Connect patients and families with resources in the community
Participate in regular interdisciplinary group case consultations, collaborate with community partner organizations, and coordinate with external specialty care providers
Utilize knowledge of the most common concerns treated in primary care (e.g., depression, anxiety, insomnia, diabetes, obesity, smoking cessation, ADHD, parent education, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications Include:
Two years’ experience in integrated primary care setting preferred
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in the State of Oregon, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
Ability to work independently and proactively to build a flourishing integrated care program
Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and patients & families through effective written and verbal professional communication skills
Ability to multitask and be flexible in dealing with interruptions, a busy schedule, and a fast-paced work environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records including ability to document services in a clear, concise, and timely manner (concurrent documentation preferred)
Ability to pass a background check
Up to date on all vaccinations
Spanish language speakers are preferred
