The Social Media Content Creator will plan, produce, and publish daily content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others relevant to the bakery’s audience. Responsibilities include photographing and filming menu items, editing short-form videos and images, writing engaging captions, and scheduling posts to align with promotions and seasonal offerings. The role also involves responding to comments and messages, engaging with followers, monitoring trends, and collaborating with the in-store team to capture events, new products, and behind-the-scenes moments. The Social Media Content Creator will track basic performance metrics and provide simple reports or insights to help grow brand awareness and in-store traffic.Qualifications Experience creating social media content, including short-form video and photography, for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.Proficiency with basic photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar) and familiarity with mobile editing workflows.Strong writing skills for concise, engaging captions, with attention to spelling, grammar, and brand voice.Ability to plan and organize a simple content calendar, prioritize tasks, and meet posting deadlines.Comfort engaging with audiences online, responding to comments and messages, and reflecting the bakery’s welcoming tone.Interest in food, hospitality, or Italian cuisine, with an eye for visual presentation and aesthetic detail.Reliable on-site availability in New York, NY, including some early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.Previous experience in social media, marketing, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
