Join us!Coast to Mountains Preparatory Academy (CM Prep) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Academic & Community Engagement Coordinator to support the launch and growth of our South Carolina program. This role is critical to ensuring academic excellence, The Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program compliance, and strong community presence as we expand access to high-quality, flexible education options for families across the state. This position operates as part of the school’s leadership structure, supporting both academic and operational priorities.This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Monitor and support academic performance, course completion, and student progressPartner with school leadership and teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and accountabilityCoordinate and oversee student remediation and intervention plansSupport implementation of CMPA’s academic playbook, MTSS framework, and data tracking systemsOversee all South Carolina ESA/scholarship requirements, ensuring full compliance with state guidelinesTrack and manage student eligibility, documentation, and reporting requirementsPlan and execute all state and internal testing requirementsEnsure proper test administration, proctoring logistics, and data reportingAnalyze assessment data to support instructional improvements and student outcomesSupport management of program budgets, resource allocation, and vendor coordinationAssist leadership with staffing needs, forecasting, and operational planningContribute to development and tracking of key performance metrics aligned to enrollment, retention, and academic successSupport initiatives that drive operational efficiency and financial performancePlan and lead in-person events, including information sessions, community partnerships, and family engagement opportunities at least once a monthBuild relationships with local organizations, homeschool networks, and community stakeholdersSupport enrollment growth through grassroots outreach and local presenceRepresent CM Prep at events, fairs, and regional initiativesMinimum Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Leadership, or related field preferred5+ years of related professional experience in education, school operations, or program management1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of student data, accountability systems, and intervention strategiesExperience with state-funded scholarship/ESA programs preferredDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentStrong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skillsWillingness to travel at least 20% of the time throughout South Carolina for eventsAbility to clear required background check.Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.We anticipate the salary range to be $65,000 - $70,000. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
