Industrial Mechanic - Heavy Machinery

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of heavy machinery, including but not limited to cranes, loaders, forklifts, and other industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment including cranes, loaders, and forklifts. Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repair. Conduct routine safety checks and ensure equipment complies with regulatory standards. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools. Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient production and safety standards. Keep detailed maintenance records and provide reports to supervisors as required. Qualifications Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role, with expertise in heavy machinery (cranes, forklifts, loaders, etc.). Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced industrial environment. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex repairs efficiently. Certification or training in heavy equipment mechanics is a plus. Must be able to lift a reasonable amount of weight and work in various physical conditions (e.g., standing, kneeling). Strong commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
