If you're ready to learn, grow, and make an impact in fintech, we'd love to meet you.About The RoleAs a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building pipeline from the ground up, targeting regional and community banks through proactive outreach, cold calling, and strategic prospecting. You'll lead with curiosity, resilience, and disciplinecreating opportunities where none existed and converting them into long-term client relationships. Success in this role comes from high outbound activity, strong discovery skills, and consistent pipeline generation, paired with the ability to close complex, consultative deals.What You'll DoProactively generate new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, referrals, and industry networkingBuild, manage, and continuously replenish a healthy sales pipeline with a strong emphasis on net-new logosInitiate high-volume, high-quality outreach to targeted regional and community banksLead discovery conversations to uncover pain points and position FIS payments solutions as strategic enablersOwn the full sales cyclefrom first cold call through negotiation and closeDemonstrate deep knowledge of FIS products, payments technology, and competitive landscapeCollaborate with internal partners to structure solutions, pricing, and proposalsPrepare and deliver compelling presentations to senior bank stakeholdersNegotiate and close deals aligned with customer needs and FIS delivery capabilitiesConsistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targetsRepresent FIS at industry events and conferences to expand market presenceWhat You BringProven hunter mentality with a track record of success in outbound, cold-calling sales environmentsExperience selling payments solutions into regional and community banksDemonstrated ability to self-source opportunities and build pipeline independentlyStrong understanding of financial services, payments technology, and banking operationsExceptional communication, discovery, and objection-handling skillsConfidence engaging senior decision-makers and navigating complex buying groupsHigh level of resilience, discipline, and motivation in a quota-driven roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to align solutions with client needsAbility to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressureWillingness to travel as requiredAdded Bonus If You HaveExperience selling commercial payments solutionsFamiliarity with account analysis and billing softwareActive involvement in banking or payments industry trade groupsWhat We OfferAt FIS, we invest in high performers. The pay range for this full-time position is $0.00 - $999,999,999.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
