Minimum of 6 months experience in the field of Computerized Tomography, with CT certification. Description: We are seeking full-time CT/Rad Techs to join our Imaging Team. Candidates must complete formal radiological technologist training in an AMA approved program. ARRT Registered MRI is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 6 months of experience in Computerized Tomography is essential, along with CT certification. Current Basic Life Support certification is necessary. Responsibilities include performing procedures by adjusting equipment and determining proper settings. You will arrange immobilization and support devices and adjust lead shielding as needed. Cleaning the x-ray room and equipment daily is required. You will perform call assignments as needed. Quality control tasks and maintaining quality control reports specific to procedures performed are part of the duties. General office duties, such as scheduling, answering phones, and filing, may be necessary. Perform diagnostic testing and general maintenance on equipment as needed. You will move equipment into the specified position and prepare the room with materials for procedures. Practicing radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff is essential.
