We are looking for a Plant HR Generalist who is passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and building strong partnerships with plant leadership. This role is a key on-site HR partner supporting day-to-day human resources operations while helping foster a safe, positive, and high-performing workplace culture.The Plant HR Generalist serves as the primary human resources partner for our Osceola, WI manufacturing facility. This role supports employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, compliance, training, employee engagement, and general safety support. You will act as a key liaison between plant leadership and Corporate HR, ensuring alignment with company policies, programs, and strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Employee RelationsServe as the first point of contact for employee HR questions and concernsCoach supervisors on performance management, attendance, and disciplinary practicesConduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actionsSupport conflict resolution and promote a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environmentEmployee Engagement & CulturePlan and execute employee engagement initiatives supporting morale, retention, and plant cultureOrganize employee events including recognition programs, safety celebrations, milestone events, and holidaysGather employee feedback through surveys, listening sessions, and informal check-insPartner with Corporate HR to share insights and recommend engagement improvementsRecruiting & OnboardingCoordinate hourly and salaried recruiting efforts in partnership with Corporate Talent AcquisitionSupport hiring practices aligned with corporate standards and policiesCoordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs at the plantHR AdministrationMaintain accurate employee records and HRIS dataProcess employee status changes and ensure timely communication with Corporate HR and PayrollAdminister benefits enrollment and serve as a liaison between employees and Corporate BenefitsTrack attendance, PTO, leaves of absence, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensationCompliance & PoliciesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor lawsImplement and communicate corporate HR policies at the plant levelSupport audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives in partnership with Corporate HRSafety SupportPromote a strong safety culture and support plant safety programsPartner with plant leadership, Safety, and Corporate Safety teamsSupport workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programsParticipate in safety meetings, audits, and inspections as neededTraining & Performance ManagementCoordinate plant training programs and required certificationsSupport annual performance review and goal-setting processesCoach managers on performance feedback and documentation standardsTrack training completion and report metricsCorporate HR ProjectsAssist with corporate HR initiatives, system implementations, and policy rolloutsParticipate in cross-functional and cross-location HR projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentPHR certification strongly preferredWorking knowledge of employment laws, OSHA, and workers' compensationStrong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skillsAbility to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretionWhat We ValueCommitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvementStrong organization, attention to detail, and follow-throughClear, respectful communication and a collaborative mindsetAlignment with our company's core valuesWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits packageOpportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environmentStrong partnership with Corporate HR and plant leadershipMeaningful impact on employee experience and plant cultureAbout Kapco Metal StampingKapco is known for investing in its people and creating a culture of engagement, and is equally as committed to giving back to the community.
