About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our production team, where you will play a vital role in crafting high-precision components for advanced industries. You will leverage your expertise in multi-axis machining and technical problem-solving to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality parts that meet rigorous engineering standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor CNC lathes and 3/4/5-axis milling centers to achieve production targets.
Execute machine setups, load components, and perform program verification and offset adjustments.
Interpret intricate technical blueprints and apply GD&T standards to ensure component accuracy.
Utilize precision metrology tools to inspect work-in-progress and implement necessary process corrections.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and uphold a high standard of organization within the workspace.
Partner with engineering and quality assurance departments to optimize machining strategies and workflows.
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
Demonstrated ability to produce medium-to-high complexity parts with minimal supervision.
Advanced proficiency in reading blueprints and applying GD&T principles.
Strong command of hand metrology tools including micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
Solid understanding of cutting strategies, tooling selection, and fixture design.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience operating CMM equipment for quality verification.
Proven ability to manage multiple machines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Formal vocational training or certification in precision machining.
