Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator

Leads, evaluates and assigns staff; plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises the work of volunteers and temporary employees; ensures adequate coverage for programs and events; provides exceptional service to the community through youth and adult programs; and meets changing needs and physical, social and emotional interests of individuals through innovative programming. Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates therapeutic recreation programs and activities; performs individual client assessments and evaluates community programming programs; educates, advocates and supports inclusion services across department programs; and plans and conducts workshops regarding therapeutic recreation programs for organizations, agencies, and support groups.
