Bennington College welcomes applications for several Summer Worker positions, including Grounds Helpers and Housekeepers' Assistants. The College offers a competitive hourly wage, and employees have use of our on-site facilities, including a fitness/recreation center, tennis courts, and campus library. Available Schedules/placement For The Summer Worker Positions Are As FollowsSummer Worker/Grounds Helper - Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pmSummer Worker/Housekeepers' Assistant - Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Working in collaboration with experienced Buildings and Grounds staff, Summer Workers are responsible for following established safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and promoting a positive and congenial atmosphere and working relationship with students, employees, supervisors, and other individuals with whom these positions may come in contact. These jobs require the use of proper judgment in work assignments daily, effectively managing their time, and being proactive and self-motivated.QualificationsAll candidates must be 16 years of age or older. Grounds Helper: Knowledge of hand tools and light equipment.
