Automotive Parts Person - Night Shift

Job Description Parts Advisor / Parts CounterpersonShift: Night Shift | Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Parts Advisor to join a high-performing Ford dealership team on a full-time night shift schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong automotive parts knowledge, dealership experience, and the ability to support service operations during extended evening hours. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for assisting technicians, service advisors, and customers with accurate parts sourcing, ordering, inventory management, and customer service while ensuring efficient shop workflow throughout the night shift. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport service technicians and advisors by accurately sourcing and supplying required partsAssist retail and wholesale customers with parts inquiries, pricing, and ordersUtilize Ford/Motorcraft parts catalogs and dealership software systems to identify OEM partsProcess special orders, returns, warranties, and parts invoicesMaintain organized front and back parts counter operationsReceive, stock, and track incoming inventory shipmentsPerform cycle counts and monitor inventory levels for accuracyEnsure parts department organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiencyPromote additional parts and accessories where appropriateWork collaboratively with the service department to minimize downtime and maximize productivity QualificationsPrevious automotive parts experience requiredFord dealership or OEM parts experience strongly preferredFamiliarity with Ford/Motorcraft catalogs and dealership software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.)Strong customer service and communication skillsExcellent organizational and inventory management abilitiesAbility to work independently during evening operationsBasic computer proficiencyAbility to lift and move automotive parts when required Preferred ExperienceFord or Lincoln dealership parts department experienceWholesale and retail parts salesWarranty parts processingService lane supportInventory control and logistics Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceBonus or performance incentive opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement/401(k) optionsPaid training and Ford OEM development opportunitiesEmployee discountsLong-term career growth within dealership operations ScheduleNight Shift:Monday – Thursday3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Enjoy a stable 4-day work week with extended weekends while contributing to a busy, team-oriented Ford dealership environment.
