This role manages documentation, reporting, and communication to support efficient cross-border shipments and regulatory compliance.What You'll Do* Act as a primary point of contact for client import and export activities* Prepare, review, and maintain import and export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations* Submit and track shipments with CBP and other regulatory authorities to ensure timely clearance* Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to resolve compliance or documentation issues* Review import and export documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all client and regulatory requirements are met* Monitor updates to customs regulations and trade laws and communicate relevant changes to internal stakeholders* Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions, correspondence, and filings.* Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews as needed* Notify clients and carriers promptly regarding shipment status and communicate any process exceptions to management* Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external partners regarding customs processes and compliance requirements* Proactively identify and suggest process improvements* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills* Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization* Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks accurately and on time* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Positive attitude, high energy, professional demeanor, and strong work ethicHow You'll GrowWe are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities.
