This role is ideal for someone who loves connecting with others, thrives in a fast-paced professional services environment, and enjoys supporting business development efforts through high-quality coordination, CRM management, event presence, and relationship-building.This is a great role for someone who has supported a BD/sales process in consulting or professional services and is excited to grow their exposure to client development. You’ll work closely with the Client Development team, consulting leaders, and Marketing to help drive visibility, maintain a strong pipeline, and represent Viscadia with energy and professionalism.You will report to the Head of Client Development and collaborate globally across our markets.Why consider Viscadia as your next career step? We are dedicated to promoting positive and supportive work environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Client Development team across the sales cycle by coordinating next steps, follow-ups, and internal handoffs with consulting and marketing partners.Keep HubSpot up to date with high-quality CRM hygiene, including logging activities, updating contact/company records, maintaining deal stages, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Build and maintain prospect lists aligned to our target markets and outreach priorities; help organize and track campaign responses in partnership with Marketing.Conduct account and prospect research and build organizational maps at targeted accounts to identify key stakeholders and decision makers.Assist with account plans, meeting prep, and research briefs to help consulting leaders tailor outreach and client conversations.Schedule meetings and help prepare materials for business development discussions, including agendas, background notes, and follow-up summaries as needed.Track opportunities and momentum across active pursuits, ensuring action items are clear, owners are assigned, and timelines stay on track.Represent Viscadia at conferences, trade shows, and networking events with a friendly, bright, and engaging presence; confidently introduce Viscadia and connect prospects to the right internal leaders.Support event planning logistics (registration, attendee lists, scheduling, materials) and organize timely post-event follow-up to convert new connections into conversations.Prepare basic pipeline summaries and exports to support team check-ins and reporting.Maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail while working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment.Qualifications & Experience2-4 years experience supporting business development, client development, sales operations, or marketing/sales coordination in the consulting or professional services industry.Comfortable working in a highly customized, fast-moving environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a polished, professional presence with clients and senior leaders.Highly organized and detail-oriented—able to keep systems, follow-ups, and logistics running smoothly.Confidence and enthusiasm for networking—someone who enjoys meeting new people and representing a brand.Experience with CRM tools required; HubSpot strongly preferred.Pharma / biotech / med tech experience is preferred.Science degree is a plus.Must be able to work in-office 4 days per week (with 1 day per week flexibility/remote).Travel 10–20% for conferences, client meetings, and networking opportunities (may vary by season).What We’re Looking ForA natural connector: You love networking, build rapport quickly, and represent Viscadia with warmth, confidence, and a polished presence.A proactive follow-through person: You turn conversations into next steps, keep momentum moving, and don’t let opportunities stall.A detail-strong organizer: You keep HubSpot clean and current, manage lists/logistics smoothly, and make the team’s work easier behind the scenes.A professional services mindset: You’ve supported BD/sales in consulting (life sciences a plus) and are excited to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative, 4-days-in-office Arlington role.
