Business Litigation Paralegal

Job Description Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their legal team as a Business Litigation Paralegal. Position DetailsTheir Paralegals assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal professionals engaged in business litigation. The Paralegal will work directly with their attorneys to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, legal research, document drafting and filing and preparing for and attending trials. ResponsibilitiesPerform legal and factual research, as well as, records researchOrganize, analyze, cross-check and validate informationPrepare correspondence, draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery and legal memorandaOrganize and assist with document production both in physical and electronic formOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendicesLiaison between trial team and internal/external third partiesHelp with voir dire, jury selection and witnesses preparationOrganize and track case files and maintain databases and files, including Relativity and Case NotebookReview and monitor new and updated laws and regulations as it relates to electronic discoveryOther projects/work as needed across other practice groups to assist with their litigation needs QualificationsBachelors Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience5+ years of paralegal experienceProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong writing and communication skillsE-Discovery and Relativity experience requiredOperates with a high degree of accuracy with strong attention to detailAbility to manage conflicting priorities while respecting tight deadlinesProven ability to establish professional working relationships with colleagues and external clients JO: 5681
