Project Manager - Themed Entertainment Scenic Fabrication

Your Role As a project manager at ThemeWorks you will be a hub connecting our internal teams with the client across the life-cycle of multiple projects. With the unique and creative demands of our projects, strategic thinking and proactive leadership will be key traits for driving successful outcomes as you navigate timelines, budgets, and client expectations. Here are some additional qualifications for this role: Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong day-to-day relationships Foster growth and collaboration within the project team Review project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure alignment with design intent, cost estimates, and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain accurate budget projections, including risk assessments for cost, schedule, resource allocation, and quality Create, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules that support timely and successful completion Coordinate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and deliverables Manage subcontractors as needed Communicate scheduling needs both internally and externally keeping all stakeholders aligned Monitor and manage project scope, addressing any changes or delays promptly Actively advocate for project margins and financial performance Draft and issue change orders as required, and coordinate invoicing requests Act as a liaison across all internal departments, communicating project status effectively and professionally Travel occasionally to conduct client meetings, perform site surveys, and for installations Escalate issues appropriately to the Director of Project Management when necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project or construction management Understanding of fabrication methods and technology Experience in the themed entertainment industry preferred PMP certification is a plus Proficient in estimating labor and material costs Ability to multi-task/manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality control Technologically proficient with the ability to quickly learn new software tools Why Work at ThemeWorks?
