OCATIONFulton, Tupelo and BeldenSTATUSFull-TimeTERM OF EMPLOYMENT12-MonthEMPLOYMENT STARTSTBDBenefitsListed in Employee HandbookCLASSIFICATIONStaffSALARYSalary varies due to the position's requirements and the applicant's qualifications.Qualifications RequiredA minimum of an applied science degree in computer-related field or equivalent work experience in PC support and certifications.Qualifications PreferredIndustry-recognized certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are preferred.Job DescriptionResponsible for installation, management and support of hardware and software for faculty/staff/lab endpoints.Assist with setup of classroom technology as requested by faculty and administrators.Recommend PC hardware, software and peripheral purchases.Install and repair computer hardware and approved peripherals, including printers.Provide hardware and software troubleshooting and support.Help manage computer and parts inventory.Review, demonstrate and evaluate hardware.Install and repair technology infrastructure as needed.Maintain computer management/deployment systems as specified by the system's organizational plan.Assist helpdesk with resolving reported issues.Perform other tasks as assigned.
