Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)
Summary Of Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this position is to support the daily manufacturing operations and processes in the facility. This will include maintaining and improving equipment in terms of safety, quality, and productivity. This position will develop programs and parameters for selected production processes. This position identifies and implements process improvements. This position will also be responsible for training associates.Essential FunctionsMaximize up-time of equipment by improving reliability and repeatabilityAssists in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment to include robotsCoordinate and assist with equipment installation and start-upsAssist in evaluating tooling and hardware to ensure optimum performanceAssist in the development of quality systems for new products and processesIdentify areas in which tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences or forming consistency can be improved to increase product quality and/or throughputDecrease robotic cycle times by implementing advanced welding technology methodsMinimum RequirementsAssociate degree in industrial maintenance/technology, welding technology, electronics or similar is desired2+ years of manufacturing experienceEquipment maintenance experience and welding knowledgeExperience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and plumbing systemsAbility to interpret prints, sketches, verbal instructions, and mathematical data to generate tooling, gauging, fixturing and material handling for systems Familiarity with regulatory requirements linked to OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NECRobotic systems programming experience preferredUnderstanding of PLC programsEffective communication skills both verbally and writtenHendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
