As the Airport Brand Ambassador Supervisor, you will be the primary point of accountability for curbside execution ensuring the consistent rider experience and outstanding customer service at the airport. You will oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of a dynamic team, making critical on-site decisions to resolve live issues early and maintaining operational integrity. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution to elevate the customer experience and operational excellence at the airport.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Build, train, and manage a team of brand ambassadors to represent the company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and reliability.On-Site Operational Control: Maintain real-time control of curbside operations by monitoring rider flow and vehicle throughput, acting as a floater during peak rushes, and making final on-site decisions to resolve live issues early and calmly.Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between airport staff (Airport Operations Center, law enforcement, Landside Operations) and internal teams, fostering strong professional relationships and ensuring alignment on goals.Recruitment and Training: Assist with hiring efforts to assemble a high-performing team, followed by hands-on training to develop ambassadors' skills and brand knowledge.Staffing and Coverage Management: Execute approved staffing models and manage schedules at least two weeks in advance, ensuring operational integrity by responding immediately to callouts and rebalancing coverage in real-time.Performance Management and Coaching: Drive team success through real-time coaching, monthly on-site 1:1 sessions, and identifying performance patterns to ensure all staff adhere to standard operating procedures.Team Readiness and Support: Oversee team readiness by ensuring ambassadors are properly supplied with weather-appropriate gear and essentials to maintain high performance and morale in the field.Reporting and Analytics: Capture daily observations from shift reports and provide weekly summaries to leadership, aligning on-site execution with KPI dashboards to provide necessary operational context.Administrative Ownership: Manage essential communication channels and maintain updated resource binders, including escalation processes and key airport contacts, to empower the team to take decisive action.Who You Are:Passionate and Tech-Savvy: Enthusiastic about the company and comfortable using technology to enhance processes and results.Organized and Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple moving parts while maintaining accuracy and high-quality standards.Exceptional Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver updates to leadership.Clear and Confident Leader: Inspires confidence and direction, capable of motivating teams to achieve their best.Creative Problem-Solver: Continuously seeks ways to optimize systems, improve efficiency, and enhance the rider experience and driver experience.Collaborative Team Player: Works well with diverse teams in both strategic and hands-on capacities.Highly Adaptable: Thrives in dynamic environments, balancing office-based planning with in-field execution.Results-Driven: Focused on achieving operational excellence and measurable success.The Environment & Role:40% planning and administrative, 60% on-site execution during scheduled shifts.Fast-paced and evolving with new challenges daily.Requires scheduling, training, evaluating, and reporting to ensure team and operational success.Variable hours: Approximately 40-50 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum 2+ years in brand ambassador management, airport operations, event management.Leadership: Proven experience managing teams of 6+ employees in high-pressure environments.Physical: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 40 pounds.Tech Proficiency: Expert use of Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Forms) and scheduling software.Familiarity with the Uber appCommunication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; bilingual ability is a plus.
