WellSpace is accredited by The Joint Commission for Ambulatory Care, Behavioral Health, and as a CCBHC - reflecting an unwavering commitment to clinical excellence for every patient, no matter where they call home.The Opportunity:We're seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse to step into a pivotal clinical leadership role at WellSpace's Bunker Medical Respite/Recuperative Care program - a 24/7 program providing 30-90 days of medical respite, care coordination, medication management, and mental health support to patients experiencing homelessness. This is a chance to lead a mission-driven team and directly shape the quality of care for one of our community's most vulnerable populations.What You'll Do:- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to a team of 2 LVNs and 8-12 Clinical Support Specialists- Develop policies, SOPs, and best-practice workflows for a growing recuperative care program- Train, coach, and mentor staff on medication management, patient intakes, and clinical documentation- Oversee medication management workflows including patient self-administration, narcotics, disposals, and error prevention in partnership with the Clinical Risk Manager- Support the Admissions LVN to ensure appropriate patient intakes and clinical evaluations- Perform RN duties: assessments, medication reconciliation, and nursing functions within scope of practice- Ensure adherence to Joint Commission standards and drive continuous quality improvementRequired Qualifications:- Current California RN license (graduate of an accredited school of nursing)- Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)- 4+ years of clinical experience with diverse adult populations- 2+ years of leadership experience supervising LVNs and support staff- Experience with unhoused communities, substance use, or behavioral/mental health populations- Strong physical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills- EHR proficiency (EPIC preferred)- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekends/holidays- Bilingual Spanish a plusCompensation & Benefits:- $122,300 - $158,900/year (depending on experience)- Above-average health benefits at reduced costs- Company-paid life insurance and long-term disability- Voluntary retirement plan with company match (no vesting schedule)- 11 paid holidays, PTO, paid sick leave, bereavement and jury duty leave- Flexible Spending Program- Professional development hours offered annuallyWhy This Role Matters:This is more than a supervisory RN role - it's an opportunity to build clinical infrastructure, mentor a growing team, and deliver life-changing care to patients who are often invisible in traditional healthcare settings.
