Fii delivers intelligent manufacturing solutions for next-generation electronic products, powered by an Industrial Internet platform.Position OverviewThe Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator is responsible for supporting PCB assembly operations by loading materials, setting up and operating SMT equipment, monitoring production performance, and ensuring product quality. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Shift: Day or SwingJob Type: Full-Time / Contracted (Potential for Permanent Conversion)Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate SMT pick-and-place machinesSet up and operate automatic and semi-automatic stencil printersOperate reflow ovens for mass soldering processesLoad materials and monitor machine performance during productionPerform manual component placement as neededConduct detailed visual inspection of PCBs to ensure quality standards are metPerform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshootingOperate equipment such as Hitachi, ASM, GSM, MPM, and DEK machines (training provided)QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or GED requiredEquivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredExperience1-2 years of experience operating SMT equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentLanguageEnglish proficiency requiredMandarin proficiency is a plusTechnical SkillsWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ESD standards, SPC, and IPC-A-610Ability to read and interpret process documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly drawingsStrong component identification skillsGood organizational skills with the ability to track and count materials accuratelyStrong verbal and written communication skillsPay range: $21-22/hrNon-Exempt StatusFoxconn Assembly, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
