Staff Accountant:Located in: West Lafayette, IN Salary: $65,000-$80,000We are partnering with a growing and well-established organization to identify a talented Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to expand their experience across core accounting functions.The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the month-end close process, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring financial accuracy. The ideal Staff Accountant brings strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of general ledger activity, and hands-on experience with bank reconciliations.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and accrualsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsPrepare supporting schedules and financial reportsAnalyze variances and provide insights to leadershipSupport audits and ensure compliance with accounting standardsCollaborate cross-functionally to improve accounting processesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1–4+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar roleStrong experience with bank reconciliations and GL accountingProficiency in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsWhy This Opportunity?Our client offers a supportive team environment, opportunities for growth, and exposure to a wide range of accounting functions.
