Concrete Foreman

Concrete ForemanWe are currently hiring for a Concrete Foreman in Newport News, VA. As a concrete foreman you are responsible for overseeing and managing concrete construction projects throughout the Newport News area. The ideal concrete foreman has 3+ years of experience in a foreman role and is bilingual in English and Spanish. A clean driving record is required. Concrete Foreman Responsibilities: Supervise 4-5 concrete workers on site Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards Monitor job progress and report status to ensure timely completion Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage Set and align forms to the desired shape and grade. Prep surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling and ensuring proper forms are in place Assist in the mixing, pouring, and leveling of concrete Smooth and finish surfaces Apply curing compounds and other treatments to protect and enhance concrete surfaces Ensure finished work meets quality standards and local codes Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors to ensure timely project completion Concrete Foreman Qualifications: 3+ years concrete foreman experience In-depth knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
