Project Manager Operations and Maintenance

Job TitleKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of AASHTO, State (FDOT) and Municipal (Green Book) design criteria, FDOT Specifications and Standard Plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Management skills are required to lead and direct a team of inspectors. Ability to demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgement in anticipating and solving roadway construction issues. Ability to manage project budget and schedule. Essential Functions: Oversight of Asset Maintenance Contractors daily work. Performs field reviews to identify work needs and to verify work completion. Work orders issuance and close out. Attend meetings with client and contractors. Review and provides input on cost proposals from Contractors. Performs and directs others in accordance with company's policies and to the satisfaction of the client's requirements. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of asset maintenance contracts to ensure that goals or objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of roadway construction inspection or management is required. Education/Licensure: BS Degree in Engineering or Construction preferred or related field.
