In the courtroom and the boardroom, our attorneys create unique solutions, pragmatic strategies, and unparalleled value that allow our clients to perform at the highest level.We are seeking a Lateral/Experienced Associate in our Baton Rouge or Houston office to join our Casualty and Mass Tort Litigation Practice Group.Qualified candidates will possess minimum five (5) years general litigation experience. Extensive experience in taking depositions, writing motions, and responding to discovery are highly desired. Our associates work hand in hand with partners on all phases of litigation, from rapid response investigations, case reporting, discovery, and depositions, through trial preparation.Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills. Candidates must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact directly with our clients and to further develop client and referral relationships. Candidates should be able to independently manage a caseload from beginning to end, regularly handle court appearances and depositions, take the lead with client communication, and provide meaningful updates.The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment and the ability to work as part of a team. This position is based in our Baton Rouge or Houston office, and all candidates must be in good standing with the LA and TX State Bar.
