CDL Delivery Driver Job Summary:Hog Slat, Inc., the world's leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to deliver products from our Humboldt, IA warehouse to other Hog Slat retail locations and customer farms.As a CDL Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities will include loading, transporting and delivering products to designated locations. This position is dedicated and driver will be home daily.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.Necessary to have some mechanical aptitudeUse of basic hand tools is a mustAbility to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure loads are secured correctlyEnsure all required wide load signage and flags are in place and visibleResponsible for truck/trailer and all safety equipment being in proper working conditionBe professional and courteous at all timesSkill/Knowledge Required:The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background:Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain oneMust comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration RegulationsClass A CDL is requiredApproved safe driving recordFlexible to work in house when no deliveries are on scheduleMust have forklift experienceMinimum of 3 yrs experience is preferred
