A to Z is dedicated to partnering with families to support every child’s journey toward success. Role Description This is a contract on-site role located in Merrick, NY. The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and deliver direct intervention for children. Responsibilities also include collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop strategies to support children’s sensory, motor, and functional development. Accurate documentation of sessions and progress, as well as participation in planning and training, will be required. Qualifications Proficiency in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, development of treatment plans, and intervention strategiesKnowledge and expertise in Pediatrics and Rehabilitation, particularly for children aged 3–5Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teamsFamiliarity with sensory integration techniques and early intervention practicesApplicable licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of New YorkPrevious experience in pediatric therapy is preferredAbility to work on-site in Merrick, NY
