Material Coordinator
DescriptionThe Material Coordinator will provide the necessary support to operate and maintain the warehouse facilities. The work involved is typical of normal warehouse operations.General DutiesUnload and inspect supplies and material from various suppliersNotify buyer and supplier of shipment discrepanciesNotify responsible individual of the supplies and material upon arrivalEnter receipts and information into MAXIMO and FIMSCreate and maintain files for all purchased items and monthly invoicesTag property with bar codes, stock number, and asset labelsCreate Asset within MAXIMO and maintain changesStore property in warehouses and wareyardsIssue stock items to work ordersPrepare and ship outgoing items from warehouseAnnual physical inventory of all warehouses and wareyardsEvaluate inventory for usage and excess stockHelp with disposal of obsolete and excess materialsLocate requested items and research availability and pricesProvide purchase requisition and credit card purchase for projects and warehouse suppliesPick up and deliver to/from various locations throughout the outlying areasSafely operate handcarts, forklifts and vehiclesClean, maintain and schedule repairs for warehouse equipment and vehiclesKeep an organized and clean warehouse facilityAssist with security inspections (lock doors and gates)Assist with snow removal at warehouse facilityReceive monthly invoice in FIMS, keep files stored and maintain electronic spreadsheetRun inventory and reordering reportsEnter daily timesheet and keep monthly spreadsheet matrixAttend weekly meetingsPhone CoverageField phone call and emails from co-worker, suppliers and transport centersMail DutiesDeliver mail daily between the administration building and warehouseSort and distribute incoming daily mail for warehouse employeesProduce shipping labels and schedule package pickups for employees from outlaying facilitiesPackage and ship packages for employees at Huron, SDClerical Duties and Administrative SupportMaintain office supplies (copier, fax, printer and shredder)Pay Rate: $22.50 HourlyRequirementsComputer Usage to include experience with Microsoft OfficeValid Driver’s LicensePhysical capabilities with ability to lift, carry and bendPursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
