Sprinkler Construction ForemanJoin to apply for the Sprinkler Construction Foreman role at Allied Fire Protection.Job ResponsibilitiesInstallation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildingsInstallation, service, and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems along with all related equipmentLead project teams; oversee, direct, and delegate tasks to fitters and helpers to meet deadlines and budgetComplete assigned projects in a timely manner, keeping under budget where possibleEnsure all projects are completed flawlesslyWork independently on projectsUse project drawings to accurately interpret installation requirementsUpdate daily installation progress notes on job contract drawings (as built)Communicate change orders to the fire sprinkler manager and/or project manager before commencementThread and groove pipe, cut hanger rods, climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, layout, maintain a clean work area, and use appropriate equipment for specific jobsPresent weekly toolbox talks to employeesProvide a safe working environment for employeesExpectationsBelieve in, live, and support the company mission, core values, and business plan dailySafety firstSubmit JSAs, toolbox talks, audit forms, etc., on timeAccurate incident and accident reportingAccountable for all safety initiativesSafe driving of company vehiclesSupport Stop Work AuthorityComplete all required training, safety, and certificationsSubmit accurate timesheets with job numbers, overtime, and travel payEnsure all required documents are complete, accurate, and professional with signaturesProper inventory management, review, and approval of packing slipsMaintain and care for equipment (trucks, lifts, tools)Keep job sites clean and organizedEnsure production efficiency and communicate with superintendentAdhere to company SOPs – purchase orders, change orders, etc.Timely attendance, communication with supervisor, and paperwork completionRespond to customer satisfaction survey feedback and seek improvement opportunitiesMaintain quality control, reducing warranty workMaintain a professional appearanceCommunicate effectively and professionally within the department and with customersTeamwork and positive interactions within the team and officeParticipate actively in required team meetingsAvailability for overtime, out of town, or on-call work when neededKnowledgeKnowledge of fire sprinkler piping systems, fabrication and joining methodsUnderstanding of fire protection installation requirementsAbility to read fire protection blueprintsHigh school diploma or equivalentAmerican Fire Sprinkler Association training program for foreman (preferred)Nicet II & III certification (preferred)Work ExperienceMinimum 3 years as a Fire Sprinkler Foreman leading small teamsMinimum 3 years as a fire sprinkler apprentice/fitter (preferred)Skills And CompetenciesAbility to take direction from upper managementAccurate completion and maintenance of all paperworkMaintain vehicle and tools per company policyValid state driver's license with good driving recordSelf-motivated, ambitious, interactive, communicative, detail-oriented, and organizedKnowledge of NFPA 13 rules and all necessary codesProfessional and positive communication with other trades, customers, project managers, county officials, general contractors, etc.Positive teamwork and ability to mentor and lead team membersMaintain a clean and safe work environmentComply with all company safety practices and handbookComplete projects on time, with high quality and customer satisfactionSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustryConstructionJ-18808-Ljbffr
