Power Bi AdministratorPrimary Responsibilities:Administration:Power BI environment setup, provisioningAdministration of Power BI servicesConfiguration:Setup Power BI server featuresManagement of server settingsConfiguration of data refreshConfiguration of report sharingSecurity:Management of users (Power BI-specific AD groups), access controlManagement of the server & report rolesManagement of service accountsMonitoring of the report server usageReferencing the activity logDevelopment & Deployment:Support and maintenance of PowerBI reports, development of new, updates to existing reportsAttending CAB meetings, documentationDevOps knowledgePromotion to UAT, PRODGovernance:Advise power users on best practices for report buildingLiaison between DBA, IT, and standard/power usersGeneral:Develop automated data transformation solutions using healthcare dataUsing healthcare data to achieve administrative needs and goals.Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.Develop ETL patterns which make the most efficient use of data warehouse hardware resources, in order to deliver timely results to business customers.Investigating data to find patterns and trends.Understanding healthcare business operations.Utilizing different data sources for transformation tasks.Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand.Nice to have:Knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) frameworksKnowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data management systemsOutstanding organizational and problem-solving aptitudeEducation Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration or related field.Master's degree advantageous.2+ years of experience as a Power BI Administrator5+ years experience as BI tool adminExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Technical Skills:Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL. Must be hands on with SQL/TSQL, SSIS, Informatica and ETL standardsHands on knowledge of SQL database operationsShould have knowledge of agile/scrum framework process and toolsExperience with data visualization tools.
